mike stone

Sales Director

Mike joined the sales team in 1989, from his family business. He joined us with a customer portfolio of large hospitals and independent catering outlets.

Mike may be one of the few remaining butchers in London to hold a personal slaughterman’s licence.

His career with the company developed, specialising in the NHS and private hospital sector. He still handles our large number of NHS Trust hospitals in the London and Home Counties area.

He became Sales Director in 1994, and is now responsible for all major account groups.


paul arkle

Catering Consultant

Paul became involved with Wilson's in 1995, after a career in catering. He had worked for four years for Turnells of Covent Garden, before joining Chester Boyd Catering, where he was employed to reorganise their purchasing operations.

Paul has acquired an extensive knowledge of food and beverage requirements, allowing him to specialise in banqueting and a la Carte operations.

Paul's specialises in large catering company portfolios, although it is rumoured he likes selling to pubs! :)

He is a member honoraire of the Salon Culinaire Francais and has studied to diploma level at the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

John was taken on by the Company to set-up a division to sell American-Style Pork Ribs in various grades, wholesale to the growing theme restaurant trade.

With thirty five years in the meat industry, selling bacon, pork and other meat products, John has developed Europe wide contacts that have improved the cost effectiveness of our purchasing operation to the benefit of all our customers, and allowed us to satisfy more of their requirements.

More recently John will be seen in and out of pubs - no not in the same way as Paul! - John now heads our Foodservice relationships with the ever expanding multiple public house groups.


david wilkin

Marketing Manager

David is the "new boy" to the company, joining us in May 2000, he brings with him not only twenty years meat industry experience, but some very clear views on customer service. He tells us regulary that he is always on the customers side.

His foodservice expertise and clarity of perspective have enabled him to integrate quickly into our sales team. David's ethos is simple when relating to customer service - "we all only exist because of our customers".
